Choose the perfect flooring package tailored to your style and budget.

Basic LVP
  • Remove and haul off existing soft surface (carpet, pad) or loose vinyl in open areas only.

  • Basic floor prep: fill small dips, scrape high spots, meet manufacturer flatness within “good enough,” not full leveling.

  • Underlayment/moisture: standard underlayment where manufacturer requires; simple 6‑mil poly over slab where needed.

  • Layout: Straight lay with planks parallel to main wall; no pattern work, simple transitions.

  • Trim/Transitions: Standard reducers/T-molds at doorways and to other floors.

  • Cleanup: Broom and vacuum, debris removed from site

Premium LVP
  • Demo: Remove and haul off existing hard surfaces (glued vinyl, VCT) and thinset as needed.

  • Floor prep: Bring subfloor to tighter flatness tolerance (for example, within 3/16 inch in 10 feet); more skim coat/leveler included.

  • Moisture: Concrete moisture testing; basic moisture mitigation system within set limits if required by manufacturer.

  • Layout: Better line planning, continuous flow through connected rooms where possible; staggered/random end joints per spec.

  • Details: Undercut door jambs and casing; nicer transitions and matching quarter-round or shoe molding.

  • Cleanup: Vacuum, wipe down visible LVP and base, leave extra box/pieces for future repairs.

  • “All-in” turn-key LVP install for higher-end residential and commercial where look and durability really

  • Furniture: Move and reset furniture (within reason), appliance moves where allowed, protect cabinets and fixtures.

  • Full floor prep: Full self-leveling/patching as needed to meet manufacturer’s stricter specs; address squeaks, loose subfloor, transitions.

  • Moisture system: Upgraded moisture barrier or full moisture mitigation system on slabs within defined limits.

  • Layout/design: Feature layouts (border rooms, change of direction in main spaces, diagonals where suitable).

  • Trims: Upgraded color-matched trims, stair nose on steps, finishing details at rail posts and complex cuts.

  • Dust & protection: Dust control, protect adjacent flooring and cabinets, “white glove” final clean and walkthrough.

Hardwood

1. Wood Basic Install Scope: Straight-lay prefinished wood (engineered or solid) in open areas over a suitable subfloor.

  • Includes:Basic demo and haul-off of existing floor in open areas.

  • Minimal floor prep: screw down squeaks, basic patching; major leveling extra.

  • Acclimation: Standard acclimation per manufacturer (stacked in space for required days).

  • Layout: Straight lay, no borders or patterns, standard transitions.

  • Finish: For prefinished, install only; for site-finished, one basic coat schedule only if you want that in a separate upsell.

  • Cleanup: Sweep/vacuum wood and haul off debris.

2. Wood Plus InstallScope: Higher-spec install, good for nice residential and small commercial.

Includes Basic, plus:

  • Enhanced floor prep: correct flatness more aggressively with grinding/leveler to protect wood from hollow spots and movement.

  • Moisture: Subfloor moisture testing; basic vapor retarder or approved underlayment per NWFA-style guidelines.

  • Layout: Board direction planned for main sight lines, stair edges, and transitions; starter board selection for better look.

  • Trims: Base and shoe install or reinstallation; nicer transition profiles.

  • Furniture: Limited furniture handling and room protection included.

  • Cleanup: More detailed vacuum and dust control; leave spare boards with customer

3. Wood Premium InstallScope: High-end wood projects with detailed prep, design work, and finishing.

  • Includes Plus, plus:Full leveling and substrate correction to meet strict flatness tolerances across entire area.

  • Advanced moisture protection: full systems or upgraded membranes if needed.

  • Design: Borders, inlays, herringbone/chevron or mixed-width layouts where appropriate.

  • Stairs & trim: Custom stair treads/risers, flush stair nose, detailed trim and transitions at built-ins and rail posts.

  • Dust control: Contained cutting where possible, more intensive cleanup at finish.

  • Aftercare: One scheduled follow-up visit to inspect, tighten trims, address minor squeaks or gaps.

Tile

1. Tile minimal : Standard ceramic/porcelain floor tile in simple layout (straight grid) on reasonably sound substrate.

Includes:

  • Demo and haul-off of typical existing flooring in open areas.

  • Basic prep: patching small cracks and dips; no full mud-bed or major leveling.

  • Layout: Straight lay, minimal cuts pattern, standard grout joint (for example, 3/16 inch, sanded grout).

  • Materials: Thinset and grout appropriate for standard dry-floor use.

  • Trim: Standard transitions and basic caulk at perimeters.

  • Cleanup: Sweep, sponge clean tile, remove haze once.

2. Tile Standard: Better prep and finish for kitchens, baths, and higher-visibility areas.:

  • Substrate prep: bring floor within tighter flatness tolerance, more self-leveling included; address known movement joints.

  • Materials upgrade: better thinset and grout (for example, polymer-modified thinset, better grout type) suitable for damp areas.

  • Layout: Centered layouts, accent strips, diagonal in small areas if desired.

  • Waterproofing (optional line): surface membrane in specific wet zones if included in the spec.

  • Details: Caulk at all changes of plane, cleaner cuts around cabinets and fixtures.

  • Cleanup: More thorough haze removal and final wipe.

3. Tile Premium InstallScope: High-end tile work with more complex layouts or critical areas (luxury baths, lobbies, feature areas).

  • Full substrate correction and crack isolation/waterproofing where needed.

  • Layout/design: Complex patterns (herringbone, multi-size patterns), borders, insets, or mosaic work.

  • High-performance materials: premium mortars and grout, lippage control systems, careful joint planning to meet standards.

  • Trim & finishing: Metal trims or specialty profiles at edges, meticulous cuts at drains, posts, and transitions.

  • Protection: Protect new tile surfaces during other trades’ work and do final detail clean on turnover.
